Quinoa flakes are made by steaming, rolling and flaking quinoa. They contain no added ingredients and are naturally gluten free*. Cooked on the stove top, they produce a smoother cereal than plain quinoa with a light flavor and a grits-like appearance.
These flakes can also be used as an ingredient in baked goods or to bread foods (as you would breadcrumbs).
