Criollo beans are the rarest & most prized cacao variety, known for their exquisite flavor. Because of low yield and higher plant mortality, Criollo beans account for only roughly 0.1% of the global cacao market. The finished dark chocolate bar has a slightly woodsy & smoky flavor with licorice notes.
